have time for us to come. and this is after weeks of calls with them and the desire was expressed by us that it was very important that we see this. we went to the border. we got see the wall. that unfortunately has stopped being built. we visited with border patrol agents who are dealing with influx of migrants. we went to a processing center where 4,000 children were being taken care of and moved into our country. and then but we wanted to visit with the intelligence agencies there on the ground that are monitoring the drug cartels to really get an assessment for the threat that we are facing. we are seeing a human smuggling operation like we have never seen into this country. they are making an average of $12 million a day on this human trafficking that they are doing. and they are flooding our country with an unprecedented amount of drugs. and this intelligence center could have provided us more

information about the cartels, about the threat that we are facing as now we have learned the drug cartels are embedded in our own country in our communities as they are monitoring these individuals. we wanted to hear what our country was doing about this crisis. and we were denied that opportunity. and this went all the way up to the white house and we believe this is from the department of justice, the directive from them and the attorney general not to let us in. and we think that that is just wrong. jillian: seems to me like denials of entry to facilities like this can only toledo more speculation that i just feel like maybe isn't necessary, right? wouldn't we rather have the truth out there. >> exactly. what are they trying to hide? i mean, that is the question. and why couldn't they take time to allow those representatives of the people who have oversight of their agencies who appropriate the money to their agencies to have access to them

and to this facility. it was just absolutely wrong. todd: and if you as a congresswoman can't get answers and access, that, quite frankly as a congresswoman you should be able to get. what chance do the rest of us have? what's really going on here? >> well, that is the question. what is going on. and we can only speculate about what they don't want us to see or learn, but i think the bottom line is that this crisis is worse than they want to let on. and the biden administration they are literally tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of individuals crossing our border every few months, and many of these individuals are criminals. they have gang background. there are record number of drugs. already they have caught over 3 tons of fentanyl. they have caught the same amount of opioids so far this year that in the entirety of 2020. same with meth.
